He's Got The Front Door Covered
My mother informed me that a week ago he was staring out the sliding glass doors at the back deck one evening. So she opened the door so he could go outside, but being the big baby that he is, he wouldn't step outside. Which as it turns out was probably a good thing because there were two raccoons out there.
When I was home last weekend, he spent an inordinate time at his surveillance post by the front door. And no, there was nothing I could discern outside. I guess it's better than I when I used to come home from work and find him staring up at the wall.

And Then There Were Two...
This post is dedicated to the Uncle Eric, who unfortunately is in the Middle East and unavailable to dicuss this latest development at length on the phone with me. We wuff you Uncle Eric!
Yesterday the weest one had a long painful day of dental procedures, which resulted in a few things: 1. finding out that my little man has severe periodontal disease (sad; poor old wee one) and 2. the loss of another beloved "nitty gritty". This last shocking discovery wasn't made until this morning when the little man managed a smile for his mum. And then there were two...

On the Rocks with Salt
Buster's Aunt Lizzie and Aunt Katherine came over to celebrate Cinquo de Mayo with him on Monday, so he had the pleasure of sampling some guacamole and chips. He did not, however, take part in the margarita fest. Poor wee one, I never let him have any fun. Aunt Lizzie took this picture of him with his Planet Kong. I believe he is intently staring an errant chip...willing it towards himself. A wee one Jedi mind trick.

He Will Eat Anything, Including Cardboard
I'm guessing it must taste like greenies? My little truffle piggy sniffed this find out from among the recyclables. Good work, wee one.
And, yes, he's been downgraded to the Lite versions. Hee. Although, apparently, I have the world's worst scale because according to the one at the vet's office, someone actually LOST weight. This further confirms my mother that I should be making the wee one chicken. Oy.

My Mother Fed Him So Much He No Longer Fits In His Bed
I actually had a dream the other night that my parents dropped him off and he was the size of a black lab. Hee. In other news, the Kenster got himself adopted last week by a very sweet lady who I am sure at this very moment is spoiling him rotten. The apartment is awfully lonesome, though, without any furry creatures running around, so I am anxiously awaiting the wee one's return this weekend. Though I have a feeling he will be less than pleased to see me as this will mark an end to his month long eating marathon courtesy of my mother. Anyhow, I think it will be a little while before I get used to my love bug Kenny no longer being around. I still find myself expecting to turn around and see his sweet self there. Now if you'll excuse me these darn allergies are making my eyes water....
